Holidays

Expect me to feel all "WOW" and "Shiok" right?
But really....the mood just isn't right....No..not that holidays are a bad thing..
But you just tend to slack it off you know? almost 6 weeks of holiday?
I really admire those friends with particularly good spoken and written English...
And i'm refering to Dom..for those people who know him....you will agree too..
Just read his written English...Yes...I know the meaning of the words that he uses..
But i am usually not able to String them so perfectly together...
Well...Maybe it's back to the good old habit of reading to improve both your written and spoken English....it's about time too..Isn't it?
Perhaps that would be a good way to spend the holidays....
Wanted to get a job...but
1)I can only work for a month? 2 weeks to find a job...how much time is left?
2)I have to return to school frequently to practice for Grandioso....
Grandioso is the up coming concert which i will be performing in. My CCA
of course...The concert is a blend of Chior and Acapella music and yeah..
I am in the Acapella part.So..How to work like this?
And yeah....hope the practices go well...I do enjoy Acapella music..But with a major performance coming up....it can be quite nerve racking.....
The concert will be on 18th April 2010...tickets are $10 each....So if you want to enjoy some human vocal music....You might want to come and support us =)

Movie!

So after the NF exam, Clinton Nicholas Liang Xu and I went to watch a movie at Plaza Singapura...
Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief!!!!
It is about the ancient greek gods like Zeus, Poseidon and Hades....
You must be thinking that the movie's plot takes place in the acient greek or something right?
WRONG!It is the total opposite!!!
Basically the gods come to Earth once in awhile and fall in love with mortals......
yep.....so they have children and they are called Demigods.....Nice.......
So Percy jackson basically is Poseidon's son, and is framed for stealing Zeus's famouse lightning rod spear.....or whatever it is called....
Yap so as to summarise,very good plot,great acting,very original and although it didn't beat Avatar for me......But it is sure a movie not to be missed!!!=)

Visitors

Amazing! I had visitors to my house today! Having visitors is not the amazing part,but instead it is because it is only after 4 years that i finally have visitors to my house on Chinese New Year LOL!So got Hong Baos woot!!
Collecting Hong Baos in the comfort of my home...Woot!!What can beat that?
Other than that..Nothing much happened today...
So watching "Memoirs of a Geisha" now wooooooo!!!

Nostalgia

Hey don't know whether you guys have played Chocobo Racing before, but i have to tell you that it is one of the greatest games that i have ever played!It is one of the games available on the Playstation....Yes.......Not 2......Not 3.....But the first Playstation!!
I got my first and last Playstation when i was Primary 4!!And guess what? Its still working!!Perfectly!I know i "preserve" my stuff well LOL!!
But i was youtubing recently and accidentally came across the ending song for Chocobo Racing......When i heard it, all the childhood memories just started playing themselves in my mind...oh the nostalgia.....the time when everything was perfect,when there was like only 10% of the problems and responsibilities that we are currently facing...When i heard it,the overwhelming feeling of wanting to cry just came over me.....I know it might sound gay-.- but i'm sure guys feel emotional at times too right? Not like we don't have a childhood or anything-.-

Chinese New Year Day 1!

So as usual, went to paternal side grandmother house, "bai nian" and hanged around alittle.
Then went to maternal side grandmother house, "bai nian" and slept for 2hrs!! LOL!!
Then went to my father's friend house,"bai nian" hanged around and chit chat here and there.This is the first time that i did not go and check out the computer area...
Instead this is the first time that i engaged in a meaningful conversation there!!!
Talked about the places that they travelled to and quite abit of Singapore Education System stuff..Like those DAE through sports and Sports School topics.Then moved on to talk about some IT stuff which i am happy that i can relate to it as i am now in the IT line.Makes me feel mature instead of playing computer games on the second floor LOL! And yeah! if you're wondering, his house has 3 storeys!!! WTF right?Guess this is one of the rewards when you study hard and earn alot of money in the future.
Not that i dream of living in a big house....but i can put the money to other good use.
So went back to paternal grandmother house for dinner.Collected a few more hong baos and yeah,that was the end of Chinese New Year Day 1!
Tomorrow most probably will be going over to maternal grandmother house again.
Probably there will be aot of people,those aunties and uncles and "ALOT" of children and babies. omg........
Not that i dont like children, but when they run around shouting and screaming, lets see whether you consider them "little Terrors" or a "gift from God"........
I'll probably take the first description......
So yeah which means? More Hong Baos!!
Not that i'm hard on cash, or saving for an item, but i believe that having more money does not hurt at all! LOL!
Problem is,as i am the only child of the family,i receive one Hong Bao...but my parents have to give out maybe 2 or more Hong Baos!!!!!!Why? Cause other families have more children and so it also means that my parents are giving out more money then receiving!There is no profit but losses!!!
Oh well, its CNY after all,so lets not take monetary issues too much into concern.
After all it only takes place once a year.....
So for those still "Bai Nianing"....Hope you collect more Hong Baos!! LOL!!

Spring Cleaning

Helped out a little with the spring cleaning by cleaning the toilets...and i tell you...its bloody tiring!! Especially when you have to bend down 90% of the time to scrub the floor.The worst position to be in is when you you have to bend 45 degrees downwards to scrub the walls!
I went for a jog on thursday, and i am suffering from muscle aches now. Like for 2 days already. Which does not help at all!
Anyway going to grandma house for reunion dinner later,yap steamboat and the frying pan is usually used for the cooking of the food for us.Should be no exception for this year =)
So to all people celebrating chinese new year out there! Wishing you a very happy Chinese New Year!!And enjoy your reunion dinner! Woot!=)

Well deserved rest

Finally!! its done!! Walk through was quite alright, only for the last question, might have forgotten to add in a few things lol.
So with all projects done, what is left is only the forth coming NF exam.
One exam paper only leh....you think so?? No!! Cannot be complacent!!I have fallen into its trap too many times, too many to remember!
But i shall rest for CNY for now, getting a little excited about it lol!
Only hate the spring cleaning part ahahahah!!!

Walk through

Arghghg walk through today!!! 3.00-4.30pm...
Oh well get it over and done with isn't it? Of course doing a good job of it i mean.
Yap so had to print out my Java codes for the test.
But what the hell man...Out of 6 classes, i only managed to print out the main one and another sub class -.- Why?You ask? Well, it is because the printer screwed up of course!There is a privillege given to all ICT students, 150 pages free printing per semester.So? Everyone uses it of course! and because the walk through is the next day, everybody just spammed all their work into the printers expecting it to print all of them.Ever heard of information overload? Well? Exactly! The bloody printer broke down!!
So having to print it at the printing store will cost you bout 3 dollars?
I was determined not to pay that amount so i decided to write out the classes!!
Yap! Handwritten!! But it might be a blessing in disguise as it allowed me to understand the codes even further.
Oh well, hope all goes well for later then =) Wish me Luck! =)

School and Acapella

Today was kind of slackish lol...
reached school at 1pm,sign attendance,showed Victor whom is my OOP lecturer my program. Apparently he said it was ok.... so i'll take it that it is really an OK then =)So played Warcraft 3 standard gaming in the classroom with classmates lol.
Owned the first match, but got Owned during the last 2 matches ahahah!!!
So play play play, 5.30pm liao.....Wow? Had dinner with clasmates and went for Acapella which is my CCA.Enjoyed it overall, only that as i'm one of the beatboxers for the group,i have to do vocal plays and of course beatbox.Woot! Yeah, so anyway i'm currently having troubles with creating a vocal play for Lady GaGa's poker face.......Yeah the electro drums part....
So reached home at bout 12 midnight... yap thats my standard being at home time for Wednesdays..
So i would say that today was generally a fine day for me=)

Finally can relax a little

ahhhhh!! Finally OOP assignment handed up.
But of course there's still the walk through test...
Never mind, i will take it in my stride, i believe my programming skills have improved from the last time, but then i again i must not be complacent.
Anyway school started at 1 pm today..Woot!!!!
Did some NF revision as the exams are coming.
Other then that, its a normal schooling day, abit boring -.-
Sian suddenly thought of those screwed up additions that connie wanted, otherwise there goes my team marks.....Idiot.....sabotager-.-

No, not the literal word connie, but yeah its the lecturer's name and i think the word "connie", might actually suit her well!
Why? of all team members fuck me up first?
It's not like i haven't contributed to the team at all....
Last minute say this dont have that dont have...can like tell me before hand so that i can touch up?
Pass up the fucking prototype for what? So that when the lecturer see he/she can tell us what are the things to add right?
So she said that for every team marks calculated, i will be deducted.....Only me....very nice!wonderful!

Why Blogging?

I have read many blogs and seen some wonderful ones too...but just too lazy to create my own...
Finally i am trying out blogging!!
Reasons why:
1) I'm currently studying Information Technology(IT)..Imagine a future IT expert who doesn't know how to create a blog! JOKE RIGHT!

2) Need a platform to talk about my day and stuff...hope it would not be too boring lol.

3) When i get bored..I have additional things to do like blogging! lol! but the problem is....if im bored...it means that nothing much is happening in my life...so what is there to blog about? See the Irony?

4) People will know what is going through my head=)
