It has been done

So today was performance day..
All the shit we have been through for the last 2 weeks will finally pay off.
11 songs...wow....
But i really do not like the venue at all.
Seriously sucks.When we first arrived,it smelled.Literally smelled.
Like the urine smell from the toilet.Horrible!
The hall was small,it was further reduced with only half the hall used.
Laselle promised us a 1000 seater venue,instead we got this shit....
A church....seriously...Our performance became a charity event...
But never mind, on a happier note,all of us had fun.
The performance turned out alright,no major mistakes or anything.
Pretty happy to hear the sound of applause once again.
Thus the struggle is finally over.
Time to relax!! Woot!

Total Respect

I have to totally salute Chok Wei,i hope i spelled he's name right.
Apparently he has won a pair of tickets to go "see" Jay Park from 2pm,but he is no longer in the group.But still it is a rare chance to see a K pop celebrity here in Singapore.People pay for the ticket,but he won it.
He got the tickets quite a while back.He was able to make it before,but now sadly i think he's heart is bleeding.
Due to the constant postponing of the Laselle concert,it has so coincidentally collided with the fan meet next Saturday.Yet he has to come and help us with our performance.
He made the biggest sacrifice,of letting go the tickets.Man.....total respect for him.
If it was SNSD,i wouldn't know if i would be able to make that sacrifice.
The most hurtful thing is,he was first able to make it,but due to the concert being postponed,he lost that once in a lifetime chance.
He is a guest singer,yet he chose us over Jay Park....
He is not forced to sing with us,he did it voluntarily.
Yet Ngee Ann/Joe have never thank them for it at all.Yes, i am also refering to Toby and Daryl.They are clearly more skilled then the Ngee Ann singers in terms of singing,yet they get no credit at all.But they are still coming back to help us.
I am totally grateful to them,for all the sacrifices they have done for us.

A meal from the past

Met up with some of my Sec1/2 classmates for a meal at New York.
I mean the restaurant yes,not the country.
Quite a fun and nostalgic moment for all of us,talking about the times we had in the Secondary School,made fun of each other,talk behind some of those (we dislike) people's backs ahahaha!!
And the meal pretty good from what i have eaten hee.
Though it cost 21 dollars....ouch...
Went to play pool for awhile after that,but just some of us cause some of them had to go back to prepare for their prelims.
Heard it is pretty crazy this time round.Good Luck to them.
And headed home after a not so satisfying pool session.Perhaps i'm not so into it in the first place.
So i am back now.....i'm such a boring guy ai??

Montfort Knights Bi-Annual Campfire

Ye it has been 2 years since the last one ai??
So on this fateful "Knight",the Montfort Knights Bi-Annual Campfire was held once again.
The venue was at the holding school,as the original school's infrastructure is currently undergoing PRIME.
Even though the Gateway was not as big as the last,it was still exciting to go back to support my old CCA.
Overall it relived my scouting days a little,bringing back the memories of going to campfires and singing campfire songs.
Good job to the 2 MCs,Bryan and David.
And i definitely have to comment on the snacks which they provided.
IT WAS AWESOME!!Never have i tasted such good snacks after a campfire.
And i am proud to say that my very own scout troop earned my respect for it.
The food was just too good,especially the chicken wings ahahhaha!!
Oh my....i have started talking about the snacks instead of the campfire details ahah!!Well,when there is good stuff,you have to share don't you?? lol.
Overall i would say that everyone has put in a great deal of effort into this event.
I know cause i have been through it before.
The months of preparation, the building of the gateway, the mental stress you have to go through from your seniors.
But it all comes down to one night, and you either pull it off or screw it up.
So i am happy to say that my scout troop has once again pulled it off and put on a good show.GOOD JOB MONTFORT KNIGHTS,and continue to bring the troop to greater heights in the future.

K POP Night Singapore!!

OMG!! Its really happening! Woot!!
So Nyuh Shi Dae is gonna be in town!!With 5 other K Pop bands for a concert.
Sadly it's not their solo concert,otherwise i will be queuing up now for the tics!
Apparently they said that the concert will be a minimum of 2Hrs.....
Hey.....Come on....6 bands....2hrs.....
That makes it 20mins for each band to perform....THAT'S TOO SHORT!!!
My SNSD will only be able to perform 20mins...No Way!!
But be it 1hr or 20mins,i will still want to be there to watch them live.
The Category 1 tics will be released to the public on sat and sun.I have an exam paper on Mon....How the hell do you expect me to go queue for hours for the tic???
My exam is till Next Wed.The rest of the Tics will be released next Mon.
I am sure by the end of Sat,All the Category 1 Tics would have been sold out =(
So my hope of being closer to the stage has been dashed.
Anyway Category one Tics cost $258!! WTF!!??So that is another thing to consider.
But i will only be able to go down to check if there are any Tics left at all next Wed.
I don't mind even if it is the cheapest one,which is still $118 -,-
Please Please Please,let the Tics still be available next Wed.

Strange

Went for a run in the evening today.
Completed bout 4km.Aim to finish at least 5km each time.
So while i was walking back home,i came across my Primary one form teacher.Wow right?
A decade since he taught me.Still remember,PE and English,Math too.
But...We just walked past each other,as if i have never knew him or anything like that before.
Tried to bring a smile to my face,but just seems too awkward to do it.
See how important communication is??I haven't talked to him for 10 years,of course i wouldn't pop up in his face suddenly and start talking to him.It will be so weird!
Communication is super important,it holds all relationships together.
Not having it might break the longest and strongest of all relationships.
