Battle Los Angeles

Before that.

Nic wanted to go meet up with some girls he got to know through FB.

And the strange thing was it wasn't him that added them, but they who added him.

They also initiated the meet up.

So i arrived late, but thank god i arrived late or i would have wasted even more time.

You know when they say don't look at appearance. But with Technology and PHOTOSHOP nowadays, even a fat person can be made to look thin.

So apparently these girls whom we met up with, one looked quite chio, but is just a lying bitch.

Saying she's from china and can't speak english, AND is single.

Sadly, both aren't facts. Gotta respect yourself and your bf more i guess??

The other has heavily photo shopped photos on her FB.

No problem with photo shopping, but come on don't trick guys into meeting up with you this way. Really make yourself to turn out like a whore.

And worst thing? Both are anti social. Ask for a meet up and hardly any conversation? FAIL.

So god rid of them as soon as possible and head off to Iluma to get the movie tickets.

Was thinking between SuckerPunch and Battle Los Angeles.

Heard SuckerPunch was shit, so decided on the title above.

OK... Bribri's movie review:

Movie plot? Pretty no brainer and shitty. Can almost predict the ending from the first 5 mins.

The battle scenes were alright. Just alright.

So maybe a 6.5/10 rating for me??

I only liked the close resemblance to the game Starcraft 2.

So the movie concerns aliens coming to Earth to attack us. (Oh another one of those alien invasions......)

Surprisingly, these aliens are rather primitive.

They can't teleport, don't have those laser weapons or whatever, so don't even bothering asking whether they have some super ownage high technology weapon.

But one thing is for sure though, they are definitely tougher to kill then humans. (always the case)

But apparently the weapons they use seem to be similar to ours, automatic rifles and stuff.

Though they have unmanned aerial machinery, but come on we have them too, only maybe not as technologically advanced as theirs.

The aliens are only more technologically advanced in the area where their machinery runs on liquid H2O...Yes, water.

So apparently we are not yet commercialized in this area, so our machinery still runs on oil??

Other than that, the whole movie just concentrates on a group of marines trying to save some survivors, but losing more people than they saved. Ironic.

90% of the time, it is battle scenes and more battle scenes.

So if you're one of those war head enthusiast, this film is for you!

Anyway i mention that this film has close resemblance to Starcraft 2 right?

So the marines are the Terran marines of course.

The aliens? Protoss baby! But they aren't as cool as the protoss of course, but close enough i guess.

But the movie which portrays the best resemblance ever would be Alien VS Predator.

Alien is of course the ZERG!!! 99% resemblance to the Zerg Hydralisk i tell you!

The predator of course resembles the Protoss Zealot, but the predator does have range weapons though.

Another movie which resembles Starcraft 2 just as much would be Starship Troopers.

Any Starcraft player will tell you that the movie TOTALLY resembles the epic battle between the Terran and Zerg. Even the aliens in Starship Troopers 100% resembles the zerg. Of course the marines in the movie also totally resembles the Terran marines.

So i believe Starship Troopers resembles Starcraft 2 more than Alien VS Predator.

lol just realized that this post should be reviewing on Battle Los Angeles instead. But oh well, you just get carried away at times...
