I thought i have given up on you, but there are times when you just pop into my head for no apparent reason.
When i oggle at other girls, i felt like i'm betraying you. But i guess you don't really give a dam either.
I hardly get the chance to see you now, and when i do, it seems that you do not even entertain a greeting from me.
But yet no matter how i avoid thinking of you,you still occupy a space in my mind.

Soccer baby!

Had some craved soccer fun this morning.
Was totally fun, except that my shoes spoiled it.
Perhaps they were too small?? So the constant kicking gave my toes a blue black each.
I hope the nail don't detach from the flesh like the last time it did.
It freaking hurts! Time to toss that stupid shoe away =( !!

Then had lunch at Hougang plaza. While some of them had Astons, i had the traditional xiao guo mian lol.Still filled my stomach none the less.

Went home and crashed till 5pm lol! Went to have dinner with parents and then met up with the bunch again at NEX shopping mall.
That NEX is really big i tell you! Just like VivoCity.
Cool! A Vivo close to home =)

Went to mike house to slack-slack a little. WC3 standard with some of them, while the rest played Dai Di, is that how you spell it?? You know what i meant lol.
So ended the gathering day just like that.

Time sure flies doesn't it??
Some of them are already entering army as early as February.
Wouldn't see them for a year, until we ourselves, the poly people enter army.
Might be a bitter sweet short separation.

Rapunzel Again!

Watched Razunpel again with my parents this time lol!
Just Can't Get Enough of It!!!!! Those who haven't watch?? You're gonna lose out big time!
And personally i find the animation super good these days! I actually find that the animated Rapunzel is pretty!!!! I know it's an animation but, she is really pretty!!
Perhaps i can find a girl like that in the future?? Who knows right!?

2 movies for the price of 1! NOT!

i can't believe i caught 2 movies within the time span of just a week lol!! And not because i could catch them at a cheaper price lol.
Caught The Chronicles Of Narnia "The Voyage of the Dawn Threader" on Thursday, after the end of my last Common Test paper, and Rapunzel Today!Ahahah! But i shall spend on what i deem as time well spent lol! "Indeed" it is. Self declaration.

Enjoyed both shows alot. Dam the movies are getting better! Perhaps technology played a part? Or maybe my interpretation of art has improved!

This is the second sequel to the original Chronicles of Narnia, and i haven't caught the first sequel yet. But more or less caught on with the story, and managed to stay interested during the whole duration of the movie! Great! Of course i will never declare a movie perfect, but at least it brought the entertainment to me.

As for Rapunzel?? Perfect!! LOL!! i just declared not declaring a movie perfect...
how ironic isn't it???
This is one heck of a good animation film! Love it totally!
And it was hilarious as hell man!! Can't stop laughing!
Enjoyed the movie alot.

So if you wanna catch these 2 movies at the cinema, go right ahead! At least they are not some shit ass film that doesn't contribute entertainment and hurt you financially lol.

You don't seem to be thinking at all... only checking the clock every few seconds to determine the time remaining.
Your hands are already turning icy cold and you can no longer feel the pen in your hand.
The pen seems to be guiding itself along the surface of the paper, scribbling down anything it can think of at that very moment.

Welcome to the "Oh crap i've done section A too slowly situation"...........
You scramble through section B, hoping that the information will just flow from your brain onto the paper.
This happened for my Economics paper....I could have answered all the questions, but section A kept me thinking, tricky as it is, doesn't improve the situation at all.
But i managed to salvage the situation by finishing 80% of Section B in 30mins.
While what's left have been lost.

Completed all my Common Test papers today. Final paper PM wasn't as tough as i thought. At least my studying paid off alittle.
It has ended for now. The feeling of anxiety, frustration, desperateness and helplessness shall be sealed away for now.
But i know it will be back soon. Sooner then you know. Trust me on that.

Performance at Technival

This is rather old news, but performed last Thursday at Nic's Ideawerks event.
Technival is the event's name, but the crowd wasn't too huge. Probably because everyone was still having lessons or lunch.
I was rather surprised when almost the whole class turned up at my performance lol!
Carried on with the performance,but i believe we could have done better.

Then did a freestyle with joshua. Half way he wanted to do "Like a G6" but he freaking forgot the beat LOL!!!
When he said that he forgot the beat on stage, everyone laughed cause they thought he was kidding LOL!! But he really DID forget the beat!! ahahahah!!!Funny Shit!

Thus the performance ended and back to class -,-

Bloody Taxi Driver

Returned home from school and it was raining Cats and Dogs.
But got off at Hougang Plaza for my haircut.
There was this kind uncle who offered to shelter me to the other side of the road, so there are still thoughtful people in singapore =)
Had my hair cut and THEN!!
As it was really pouring, i waited for the road to be cleared of cars while in the shelter. Then as i ran across the road, this bloody taxi dog turned in from the main road. I hesitated to stop for the taxi, but that fucking son of a bitch slowed down, so i decided to continue crossing....
Then that fucker suddenly sped up again......i was like WTF man!!
That fucker almost knocked me down man!! CHEE BYE!!
Still dare to fucking horn at me! Chao Chee Bye!
He must have stepped on the accelerator instead of the break, bloody MOFO!
And if you are wondering whether i was crossing illegally??
Fuck no man! That was a fucking ZEBRA CROSSING!!!!
So now the rule is to allow Bitch Taxi Drivers to cross first!??
Fuck these INSOLENT, SON OF A BITCH, CHEE BYE, Taxi Driver Dogs!!

Science Center Visit/ HP7

Had a rather Fun and Educational visit to the Singapore Science Center.
Never thought that i would return there once again lol.
The last time i was there, was about 5 years ago i guess??
The entrance still looks the same, but some of the exhibits have changed.

Woke up early to arrive in school at 8.45 am. Thought i was still 5 mins late lol.
As many of my classmates went down on their own, we didn't need a shuttle bus and so cabbed down with my teacher and another classmate to Science Center.Of course i was my teacher who paid lol! But i'm sure she gets a rebate from NP.It's cheaper than a shuttle bus too.

Had a lab session for 2hrs.Experimented with DNA testing and stuff.Quite a fulfilling experience =)
Then went about to the Genome section, where a whole bunch of exhibits about Genes and Genetic Engineering was exhibited.
Pretty interesting, lots to learn, and a whole new perspective to Genetic Engineering and your body.
Spent quite alot of time there, reading the long paragraphs of texts.

Then went to check out the special exhibit, CSI The Experience.
Exclusive to South East Asia in Singapore! =)
They had 4 crime scenes, including one which they worked with the Singapore Police Force to come up with.
I managed to do one case, very well organised i would say, and of course very interesting. Felt like i was a real Forensic Scientist or something lol.
Didn't finish the other 2 as i felt a little tired of it already lol.
But i had a geese of what the other 2 cases were like.

I think i was the only one who stayed 8 hrs at the Science Center lol.
Emo kid.
But it was an eye opener, and i really appreciated how the exhibits were displayed,something which i did not feel on my previous visits.
Perhaps with more knowledge, these exhibits make more sense, and so you will appreciate the information more. As some of the information might have been a little too advance for younger kids, just like myself years ago.

Then left for Plaza Singapura to meet Mic, Chips and Thai.
Ate KFC before catching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.

For those who have read the book, you will find the scenes quite well interpreted and acted out.For those who haven't read the book, i think you would be bored to death.
But it doesn't matter, cause you get to see Ema Watson!! Aka Hermione Granger =)
Chio as hell man i tell you!!

After movie went to have the famous Selegie Bean Curd, but i had the Soy Bean Milk and You Tiao.
Headed home after an eventful day. =)

Lost of action

My acapella group has a interview from RazorTV on Thursday...
Gonna sing Don't Stop Believing Glee Version...
Of course i am doing the special effects again..
Stupid high notes that i can't reach..
And we sound like shit still =(
Only got 2 days to practice one whole new song.
When we usually take weeks to do it.
We either pull it off and rise up to a whole new level of professionalism,

What the hell is going on????

Recently there was a slashing incident at the Down Town East, Pasir Ris.
There was one casualty. Shocking! Really.....
What's wrong with the youths these days??
Something like that is really rare in Singapore.
Can Singapore still be considered a safe city??
Time for the police sit up and do something man.
That boy who died was in Year 3 Republic Poly.. Sadness man...
Study so hard to Year 3 and got slashed to death... Pity him. Painful death man.
His parents must be totally shocked and heartbroken.

Then on Monday night there was another slashing incident.....WTF man!!??
Just within like 2 weeks??
7 people were injured. One of them is an Indian and is in critical condition.
Apparently all these misdeeds are done by the gang 369.
After leaving the Indian man in a pool of blood, the crazy bastard idiotic gang members crossed the road over to a nearby basketball court.

There a bunch of teens have just finished their basketball game and were taking a rest.
The gang members approached them and asked if they were from some rival gang.
The teens said NO!!.............BUT!?
The gang members surrounded them and started slashing them!!!!
WTF!! WTF!! WTF is wrong with these people!! REALLY!!
I don't feel as safe as before when i'm out in the streets.

Haiz problem teens....Not to mention the Pasir Ris incident happened in the evening round 6pm?? And with so many people around, the gang members had the audacity to hack up that poor guy......rest in peace....

I really hope that Singapore would not return to those days where gangs are running rampant everywhere, and it is never safe for anyone anywhere.

Youth Phoria

Performance at Discovery center today!
Youth Phoria event. Apparently we are supposed to be performing in doors.
The sudden change to an out door venue pissed joe off lol.
He seriously had the "i want to murder the organizer" kind of look lol!
So of course we had to make do with the location and still pulled off the performance.
Overall it wasn't perfect but not too shabby either.
So we have to improve guys =)
More performances to come, the big one would of course be Grandioso 6 i think??
6 right???? NVM.......
It's in the coming March, so back to those crazy rehearsal routines soon i guess =(

AWESOME!! Saw my beloved SNSD =) =)
Of course there was also FT Island,Big Bang, Shinee, Infinite, but i was more or less there for SNSD. But enjoyed the rest of the performances too!!
But really hated it when those bastards started standing up......shit man...
Stand on the chair some more, so no choice lor, i followed suit lol.
Shinee had one missing member, Jonghyun, cause he's leg is injured.
When the MCs mentioned it, the girl beside me fucking cried!! OMG!?? SHE CRIED!!!
Really man.......
Although i was already sitting in the Category 1 seats, i still find the idols too far away =(
Should have gotten the standing pits!! OMG!!
THEY WERE LIKE THIS CLOSE TO TOUCHING THE IDOLS MAN!!!
If the idols had reached out their hands, they would have already been able to touch them.
So i was really really jealous with those standing pit people when SNSD came on.
They were so close!!!!!! So So Close!! ARGHGHGH!!
And their ticket price is the same as mine -,-
Then i would have been able to see SNSD up close! So wasted =(
Then again lucky i didn't buy any Cats below 1, cause they would have been looking at shit when we were all standing on the chairs.
When Shinee and Big Bang came on, the girls totally went wild man i tell you.
Hurt my ears......Dammit..
But i am fortunate enough to be able to see SNSD live.
Hope they come back for their personal concert soon.

Paul's Birthday =)

AHAH!! Happy Sweet 20th Paul! Welcome to the twenties group lol!
Had to travel all the way to Choa Chu Kang to meet the rest.Hour plus ride,dam.
But it was worth it =)Then i found out that Nurdin is riding a bike already! Cool!!
So Nisa,Tricia,Kiat Hwee,Leonard and Me took the bus instead, while Nurdin rode his bike.To where you might ask?? ye!!To Terence's house for a Birthday BBQ!! Woot!

Arrived there where Terence came to meet up with us.
Bought some BBQ stuff like ice and charcoal at the nearby Cold Storage.
And off to he's house we went.
At first glance,i wondered why he's condo looked so familiar.
And i finally concluded that it is also my relative's condo.
Very nice place,although i have been there before.

Arrived at his house and we jammed with BAND HERO!!! WOOT!!
Awesome game!! Some of your favourite songs are in the game.
Got to sing some Maroon 5 songs like "She will be loved" and "Stop and Stare" by One Republic.Really cool!!
Had fun testing out my voice ahaha!!
Tried the drums and guitar too! Drums are easier lol.

Then went down to prepare for the BBQ like starting the fire and stuff.
Had quite alot of fun during the BBQ.Chatted,Bonded and everything.=)
Then when it came to the singing of the Birthday song, Paul got Face Planted with cake!! LOL!!! Epic! He wasn't expecting it at all! Neither was i! ahahaha!!
But i swore to him that i wasn't an accomplice or anything ahahha!
Otherwise it's gonna be a long smelly and uncomfortable ride back to Hougang ahahah!

Packed up and went back up to the house.
Jammed even more with Band Hero.
I must say this game can really increase your vocal range if you play it frequently lol.Not a bad idea ai??Hitting all the high notes and stuff.

And Wei Zheng kindly asked he's father to drop me off at the bus stop.

Mauritius Day 6 and 7

Slacked around the hotel most of the time.Just relax and take it easy lol.
And before we know it,it was time to go home.Something which i sure missed.

Prepared to leave the hotel and packed all the luggages.
Took a sumptuous last lunch in the village,which cost $90 Singapore dollars.....wow...
Wasn't any exotic dish,just a more filling one and it cost so much.The cost of living there is crazy......

Taxi came to transport us to the airport which sucked big time compared to Singapore's lol.
But we reached there pretty early and it was a pretty long wait until departure.
Bought some liquor where the sales lady tried to scam our money.Fail...really...

Took off and bye bye Mauritius.

There was a transition at Kuala Lumpur,so again wasted another 1+ hr there.Before boarding the same bloody aircraft again -.-!!
Same seat some more.

And 45 mins time we were back home sweet home.
Through this trip,i really appreciate that i am living in Singapore,cause many of the countries sucked big big time.
Fortunate to be here =)
Singapore will always be my home =)

And that will be the end of my Mauritius 2010 holiday.

Mauritius Day 5

Went to the island, ll Aux Cerf,nice beach,nice weather, no babes lol!
Traveled there by a free boat shuttle from our hotel.
Glad they did it,cause their beach sucked big time.So no choice go there and swim lol.

But the sea was really really shallow there.Quite impossible to swim.
So i just relived my childhood by making sand castles lol.
While getting burned by the sun at the same time ahah.

Didn't try any of the sea sports because the prices were really "Go screw yourself" that kind.So yeah not worth it.

Stayed there for a couple of hours and went back to the hotel.
The sun must have sapped all my energy.

Mauritius Day 4

Pretty much the same thing,also hired a taxi to drive us around,this time the southern part of the island.
We went to alot more scenic spots in Mauritius.

One would be the Volcano crater which i have been to 14 years ago.Vegetation has reclaimed its rightful land,and was growing rampantly from all sides of the crater.
It looked more like a forest then a crater to me.
Unfortunately it began to rain,and as we are on a higher altitude,and with the wind raging on,it became really cold.
So we stayed there for like 5 mins only,after driving 1hr just to get there lol.

We also went to the 7 coloured Earth,still pretty like before only that they have put up security barricades around it so as to prevent people from stepping onto this amazing natural feature.
We used to be able to walk on it,but seems like they are trying to protect that area now.
It is cause by hydrolysis from Iron and Aluminium,breaking down into coloured residue with green,purple and brownish red as its main colours.
So the small portion of land appeared to be in Rainbow colours.Pretty nice.

We also checked out a indian Temple,pretty large scale from what i saw.
Scenic spots and stuff.

Then we came to a Scenic Cliff where large rampant waves were breaking furiously along the banks of the cliff.This has got to the the nicest spot of them all.
One thing you will never see in Singapore.

We also checked out lots of small Waterfalls here and there,perhaps Mauritius didn't have that much to offer.
We toured the whole country in just 2 days.
Put it was a pretty good experience so far.

Mauritius Day 3

Hired a Taxi Driver and we drove around Mauritius island.The Northern areas.
Have to say there's still quite a long way for the Country to grow in terms of development.Of all the places that we drove to,the only developed area was the capital city, Port Louis,but of course they totally lose out to Singapore alright.Thats a fact.

If the place was to lose its tourism appeal,it will turn out to the like the movie "I AM LEGEND".Yep deserted to keep it simple.
And yes,as usual the things are really not cheap at all.Maybe they are trying to leech as much from the tourists as possible??
Can't help it,they don't have enough tourist and business to support their economy,so the smaller percentage of tourist shall have to pay the price....more expensive goods.

And do you know the extinct DoDo bird was found in Mauritius a long time ago?
Yeah too bad its extinct,or i would really like to see it before my own eyes lol.

Mauritius is really a relaxing place to live in.Probably good for those old couples who have retired and would like to face the sea all day.Badly sadly i do feel alittle bored after a few days cause there isn't really much to do there.Except all the sea sports and slacking.But the wind is too strong for that,so basically all you can do is to appreciate the scenary and feel the breeze if you get what i mean.

Mauritius Day 2

Went around the nearby villages,looking at the lives of the people,their lifestyle and stuff.
Have to admit,the way they live really seems to be backtracked all the way to the 1970s in Singapore.Live poultry running around on the roads.Dogs were running rampant everywhere.Maybe all the cats were killed by the dogs or something lol.The dogs there aren't really the friendly sort.

And the cost of living there is totally outrageous.
The average salary of the locals is between 6k to 10k Mauritius rupee,that's about Singapore $600 dollars only?Thats per month you know.
And in the restaurants around our hotel,the cost of the food is really WOW?
They cost the same of sometimes even more than Singapore restaurants.
How will the locals be able to afford it.
We were already feeling the pinch,it must be worst for the locals.

That's why they grow their own crops and poultry for food.Really Kampong lifestyle lol.
That more or less sums up the things i have seen on Day 2 of Mauritius.
Certainly many things have changed since the last time i was there. 14 years ago.

Mauritius Day 1

Ha shall talk about my holiday to Mauritius.
And coincidentally this will be my 100th post since i started blogging!Nice!
I'm lazy to upload the photos now,but i shall in the near future lol.

Flight was at 11.45am in the morning of 28th September 2010,Tuesday.
Ate my last bowl of Prawn Mee soup before eating pastry based meals for the next 6 days.Flight was about 7 hrs.
For the majority who don't know where Mauritius is,it is located near Madagascar,with a land mass 3 times the size of Singapore,yet their population is only 1.2 million.
Their timing is 4 hours behind Singapore's,so when the plane took off at 12 noon,it would land at 7pm Singapore timing,but it was only 3pm in Mauritius.Jet lag lol.

As always,no airport can beat Singapore's,it's a fact.
The travel agency got a representative to fetch us and provided us a ride to our beach hotel,"Tropical Hotel".

Well,after living in a concrete jungle for so long,it is sure nice to see miles and miles of sugar cane plantations along the way to the hotel.You can wind down the window to the max and not smell exhaust fumes blowing into your face.So this is one of the great things about not having a too huge vehicle population.

Took us an hour before we reached the hotel.Rather disappointing though.The beach,which we thought would be a nice one,had seaweed strewn all over it.
So the beach had large green patches all over it,super ugly.
The shoreline was also very close to us,so it is almost impossible to walk along the beach during high tide.The water sport activities really failed in this resort.
The reasons are listed below:

1)The beach sucked big time,wait,is there even a beach in the first place,maybe time to do some beach nourishment.
2)The wind is so bloody strong,before you can do wind surfing or anything,i think you would have already been blown away by the wind.
3)The sea corals on the sea bed were all dead,perhaps the effects of global warming??
So snorkeling would suck big time.

Thus not the best image portrayed by the resort i guess.But you would say that this is nature's fault,but nobody held you at gun point to build the resort there right??So ultimately it is still your fault for building it there lol.The resort could have been built at a better location with a nicer beach.FAIL........

It has been done

So today was performance day..
All the shit we have been through for the last 2 weeks will finally pay off.
11 songs...wow....
But i really do not like the venue at all.
Seriously sucks.When we first arrived,it smelled.Literally smelled.
Like the urine smell from the toilet.Horrible!
The hall was small,it was further reduced with only half the hall used.
Laselle promised us a 1000 seater venue,instead we got this shit....
A church....seriously...Our performance became a charity event...
But never mind, on a happier note,all of us had fun.
The performance turned out alright,no major mistakes or anything.
Pretty happy to hear the sound of applause once again.
Thus the struggle is finally over.
Time to relax!! Woot!

Total Respect

I have to totally salute Chok Wei,i hope i spelled he's name right.
Apparently he has won a pair of tickets to go "see" Jay Park from 2pm,but he is no longer in the group.But still it is a rare chance to see a K pop celebrity here in Singapore.People pay for the ticket,but he won it.
He got the tickets quite a while back.He was able to make it before,but now sadly i think he's heart is bleeding.
Due to the constant postponing of the Laselle concert,it has so coincidentally collided with the fan meet next Saturday.Yet he has to come and help us with our performance.
He made the biggest sacrifice,of letting go the tickets.Man.....total respect for him.
If it was SNSD,i wouldn't know if i would be able to make that sacrifice.
The most hurtful thing is,he was first able to make it,but due to the concert being postponed,he lost that once in a lifetime chance.
He is a guest singer,yet he chose us over Jay Park....
He is not forced to sing with us,he did it voluntarily.
Yet Ngee Ann/Joe have never thank them for it at all.Yes, i am also refering to Toby and Daryl.They are clearly more skilled then the Ngee Ann singers in terms of singing,yet they get no credit at all.But they are still coming back to help us.
I am totally grateful to them,for all the sacrifices they have done for us.

A meal from the past

Met up with some of my Sec1/2 classmates for a meal at New York.
I mean the restaurant yes,not the country.
Quite a fun and nostalgic moment for all of us,talking about the times we had in the Secondary School,made fun of each other,talk behind some of those (we dislike) people's backs ahahaha!!
And the meal pretty good from what i have eaten hee.
Though it cost 21 dollars....ouch...
Went to play pool for awhile after that,but just some of us cause some of them had to go back to prepare for their prelims.
Heard it is pretty crazy this time round.Good Luck to them.
And headed home after a not so satisfying pool session.Perhaps i'm not so into it in the first place.
So i am back now.....i'm such a boring guy ai??

So on this fateful "Knight",the Montfort Knights Bi-Annual Campfire was held once again.
The venue was at the holding school,as the original school's infrastructure is currently undergoing PRIME.
Even though the Gateway was not as big as the last,it was still exciting to go back to support my old CCA.
Overall it relived my scouting days a little,bringing back the memories of going to campfires and singing campfire songs.
Good job to the 2 MCs,Bryan and David.
And i definitely have to comment on the snacks which they provided.
IT WAS AWESOME!!Never have i tasted such good snacks after a campfire.
And i am proud to say that my very own scout troop earned my respect for it.
The food was just too good,especially the chicken wings ahahhaha!!
Oh my....i have started talking about the snacks instead of the campfire details ahah!!Well,when there is good stuff,you have to share don't you?? lol.
Overall i would say that everyone has put in a great deal of effort into this event.
I know cause i have been through it before.
The months of preparation, the building of the gateway, the mental stress you have to go through from your seniors.
But it all comes down to one night, and you either pull it off or screw it up.
So i am happy to say that my scout troop has once again pulled it off and put on a good show.GOOD JOB MONTFORT KNIGHTS,and continue to bring the troop to greater heights in the future.

K POP Night Singapore!!

OMG!! Its really happening! Woot!!
So Nyuh Shi Dae is gonna be in town!!With 5 other K Pop bands for a concert.
Sadly it's not their solo concert,otherwise i will be queuing up now for the tics!
Apparently they said that the concert will be a minimum of 2Hrs.....
Hey.....Come on....6 bands....2hrs.....
That makes it 20mins for each band to perform....THAT'S TOO SHORT!!!
My SNSD will only be able to perform 20mins...No Way!!
But be it 1hr or 20mins,i will still want to be there to watch them live.
The Category 1 tics will be released to the public on sat and sun.I have an exam paper on Mon....How the hell do you expect me to go queue for hours for the tic???
My exam is till Next Wed.The rest of the Tics will be released next Mon.
I am sure by the end of Sat,All the Category 1 Tics would have been sold out =(
So my hope of being closer to the stage has been dashed.
Anyway Category one Tics cost $258!! WTF!!??So that is another thing to consider.
But i will only be able to go down to check if there are any Tics left at all next Wed.
I don't mind even if it is the cheapest one,which is still $118 -,-
Please Please Please,let the Tics still be available next Wed.

Strange

Went for a run in the evening today.
Completed bout 4km.Aim to finish at least 5km each time.
So while i was walking back home,i came across my Primary one form teacher.Wow right?
A decade since he taught me.Still remember,PE and English,Math too.
But...We just walked past each other,as if i have never knew him or anything like that before.
Tried to bring a smile to my face,but just seems too awkward to do it.
See how important communication is??I haven't talked to him for 10 years,of course i wouldn't pop up in his face suddenly and start talking to him.It will be so weird!
Communication is super important,it holds all relationships together.
Not having it might break the longest and strongest of all relationships.

Abandoned Neo Tiew Estate

Don't have pictures with me, they are with Yu Xiang.So i shall illustrate using words then =)
Again another late post.....-,- Cause i'm lazy..hee
Went to the estate last Friday with, Nicholas,Clinton,LX,Yu Xiang and Botter.
So that made up a 6 man team.
We were transported to the location at 2100++,with the bus 975,also the only bus which turns into the Lim Chu Kang Rd.
I think the bus driver must have been rather shocked as we were the only ones to alight at that bus stop.
When we stepped off the bus,the stench of animal droppings was very bad.Probably due to the animal farms nearby.
It was a clear night,with a full moon guiding us to our target location.
There before us loomed Neo Tiew Estate.
An estate in Singapore which was abandoned more than a decade ago,due to the En-Bloc policy.
We stormed the Estate,checking out every single corner of it.
The estate is rather small. 3 HDB blocks of not more than 5 levels.A wet market.Some shop houses.And?? Thats it!!
Very small Estate indeed.
But in the night it was rather creepy,the estate was totally abandoned and the only soul in sight was the night guard on duty.Yeah...we somehow got in there "illegally",but hey,nothing wrong with visiting an abandoned place as long as you don't damage or try anything funny right??
The Estate was used for Fibua training for the Army guys for awhile,but after their new facility was built,the estate lost its usefulness,and returned to its old forsaken state.
So we found target boards and stuff in the HDB blocks,the apartments were also all linked up!!In the sense that a hole was made between 2 apartments,so we could literally walk from one apartment to another without even walking out of the front door.Pretty cool ai??The hole was carved pretty low,so we had to bend down into like a crawling position,before we made it to the other side.
It felt like some obstacle course to us man!
But it was an eye opener for me,as i would have never thought that such a place would exist in Singapore!!
Its a whole town!!Abandoned!!So cool!!!!!!
It is located at a junction between Lim Chu Kang Rd and Neo Tiew Rd,Check it out with a few friends one night if you are up for it.You won't regret.
But do be careful as the place is already very old,so make sure that the stairs and ladders are sturdy enough to hold your weight before climbing them.
Otherwise the next thing you will have to do is call "995"...

Stress!!

2 weeks later concert.
DWA project due next week and presentation.
Accounting Exam also next week!!
The only thing that can make me smile is looking at Soo Young from SNSD..LOL..
I know....fat hope right??But i can at least look right?

Haunted Maritchie

Should have posted this a long time ago...
Bout a week old?? I shall begin..

Was going home after dinner in school with LX last Monday.
Bus 74 was so bloody crowded man and stuffy somemore!
8.30 pm still so many passengers.....bloody hell.......

So when we came to the stop of Maritchie Reservoir..
We decided to just get off the dam bus!!

Suddenly we had the crazy idea of going into Maritchie Reservoir.
To "Look See Look See" LOL!
We ended up walking all the way into the forest!! Seriously!!
It was so bloody dark man!No lamp post...Dam...
but it was really dam thrilling!!!
In front dark as hell....behind also dark as hell!
Somemore we only had our handphones!
Amazing how we managed to get out of there with them as the only light source lol.



Apparently we found a broom when we stopped at one of the resting huts.
He broke of the stick end, so as to use it as a walking stick.. Smart =)



Then we started taking photos here and there...
Shouldn't actually,just in case took something 'dirty' lol..
But if we really managed to do so,we will be famous wouldn't we?? LOL!

Our second part of the journey.....Ooooooooo spooky ai!?

We walked along the broadwalk on our journey back out.
THEN!! We saw this black figure on the broadwalk, like 10 m from us sitting on a bench...If it was 2 figures we would have thought that they were a couple in the dim moonlight.But the problem was that it was a single figure.And the location was pretty deep into the forest, so it will be rare for anyone to be sitting there.
Scared as hell man!

But we eventually still approached it...Threading lightly..

It turned out to be an uncle sitting there....crazy fellow...
We left the uncle to emo after asking him why he was sitting there.
The normal answer of he was bored so he sat there...Lame.....

After walking off....LX still doubted that the uncle was human...LOL!!
So we went back to check again!! OMG! How lame can we be lol!!

LX said that if the uncle already disappeared....he will freak out lol!! Cause the main entrance and exit is on the same route we were taking..so if the uncle really disappeared it would have been really creepy!!!

AND YOU KNOW WHAT!!!??? THE UNCLE WAS STILL THERE!!! AHAHAHAHAH!!!

Probably the uncle was doing some illegal fishing...cause you're not allowed to fish at Maritchie Reservoir..

So we walked and walked...
Ended up walking wrong way......OMG!!
Walked straight into those muddy areas...There goes my 'fake' blue Converse Shoes LOL

Luckily we found something that something was wrong so we turned back onto the correct route...Heng Ar!!

We eventually walked out of the forest...tired as hell....
Took bus home and it was the end of our adventure lol..Yay!!
My first time to do such a crazy thing lol!!
But it sure builds up my courage hee!!

Next Friday we most probably going to go Ghost Hunting again!!
Where!!?? Neo Tiew Old HDB Estate!!
Just off Lim Chu Kang road, at the cross junction between Lim Chu Kang Rd and Neo Tiew Rd.

OMG This is going to be exciting!!!!!!
The place has already been abandoned for more than a decade!
So imagine if Ang Mo Kio town is totally deserted by tomorrow..
Imagine it is super run down with the HDB blocks crumbling on its weakened infrastructure.
The market place is totally empty..Deserted!!

Yes this scene will be the one at Neo Tiew Old Estate!

Happy Birthday

TO ME!!! YAY@!!! 18 Years Old!!
But not that i have been waiting for it or anything..
I take it as a passing phrase..
No party,no celebration with friends,only dinner with family.
You will think its pretty sad,but i am ok with celebrating it with my family.
My parents tried bringing me to a club or lounge, but failed pretty much.
A club with less then 50 people is really strange lol.
But the live music was alright nontheless. Mainly chinese music.
So that was how my special 18 years of age was spent.
Not too special,not too dull,but just alright for me =)

Went to support Terence,Nisa,Tricia and Leonard group's I&E event.
2MOVIES FOR A DOLLAR!
They got a Lecture Hall with a Bloody Good Sound System!!
Got to applaud them for that =)
But i only managed to watch the first movie.."Pursuit of Happiness"
Very touching Movie, of how a Man ,Built up his career and had to care for his very young son.No home,No money.....Nothing....
He eventually made it as a stock broker and even opened his very own stock company later on.
Against all odds, he did it.
Just Touching =)

Number 4
Went to support another event, Zul and Faz..
Their "H for Haiti" Concert.
Honestly some of the performances were pretty fail.
But of course there were some good ones too.
Like Faz has a pretty good voice.
Overall good effort by all of them.

So fortunate to be able to catch one today.
Very beautiful...It displayed all 7 colours!
Perhaps i could find a pot of gold at the other end of the rainbow??
Unfortunately it only lasted awhile, before the sky was plunged into darkness.

Went down to the coffee shop opposite Punggol Park the other day to have my dinner.
As i wasn't very hungry, i went down quite late, around 9.30 pm??
Apparently there was a match going on at that time.
Argentina VS Germany!!
Yeah.....i know it is quite a few days ago already...BUT!!
Who would have expected Argentina to be defeated by Germany!!!
4-0!!! 4-0!!! WTF!!
THRASHED!!!!ARGENTINA WAS THRASHED!!
So many people were at the coffee shop watching the live streamed match.
Their reactions were hilarious!!!!Especially the part when they thought Argentina Scored!Apparently it was an off side.
The after shock......Was hilarious!!! AAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!

Anyway another match was played last night.

Of course Spain won,but secretly i was hoping that Germany won LOL!!

A decade before

Went for a jog with my dad yesterday.
Barely finished 4.1 km....omg...i'm am getting real unfit.
Anyway went to the exercising bars to cool down a little.
Thats when i saw this bunch of kids..roughly 8 to 11 years old?
They were "fighting"!Ye "fighting"!
Ahaha!! Something like what i used to do in the past,when i was 8 years old myself.
We will play "fighting",fake fighting...
Ahahah!! Is there even such thing as fake fighting??
Looks like some things just never change, some of this old childhood getaways.
Even games like block catching, three blind mice..
Dam i miss block catching...Those 14 floor HDB Blocks and you can hide anywhere you want!!!
When they see you?? RUN!! Aahahahah!! Oh the good old days =)

Apparently with technology and stuff catching up..it seems that this old child hood games are dropping in popularity.
Now it's all about computers and PSPs and PlayStation 3s...
I even heard my 4 years old cousin asking for an IPhone...Dam.......
I don't even own one...and he wants one!?
Oh well.....Change is the only constant here...Don't you agree??

Gay but talented

Even though he's gay, but his talent truly outshines his sexuality.
Best American Idol contestant so far.
Even though he didn't win the competition, i believe he is doing way better than the other American Idols.
At least that is what i think.
So Adam Lambert FTW!! And i think his eye liner makes him look rather cool.

A Toy Story Indeed

Caught Toy Story 3 last night with mike,Thai Shawn and Chips.
One hell of a good animation movie.
The film portrayed so much emotion and yet hilarious at the same time.
Since Toy Story 1 and 2, it has almost been a decade before Pixar finally decided to work on Toy Story 3.
It is one of my favourite cartoons from the past and still is now.
So i will definitely recommend you to watch it, if you have forgotten the storyline from Toy Story 1 and 2,watch them again,and Toy Story 3 will be an Emotional and yet Hilarious encounter for you.

Time Line

You grip a thread in between your fingers, any of them.

Performance

This is a late post lol.
Was on Wednesday night...Went quite well "i think".
We were performing at Ngee Ann City anyway.
At least i didn't commit any major mistake or error or whatever.
Went to "Yashinoya",erm its that fast food jap restaurant??Not sure whether i have spelt it correctly though.
Ate the cheapest meal i could find there,which was $6.20 Beef with vegetable with rice.
The beef was quite good though,but too little of it lol.....
Then went home from there...Been a long time since i hanged out at Orchard till bout 11?

Aca people gathering

Yay! Went to Seoul Garden for our gathering,more like a celebration after Grandioso kind of thing. So ate and ate and ate and ate.
But i didn't explode from fullness lah,just ate what was enough and i was done.
After dinner,still went to Starbucks to chit chat,or rather say more of planning new songs to sing and stuff.
Finished everything by around 10.30? And went to take MRT back home from City Hall.
Came home,had some ownage Dota Matches,and i really mean OWNAGE!!Own them until they cry LOL!!
And school tomorrow -,-..... ok... bad conclusion....

The Losers

Yeah i'm refering to that movie which is still screening in the cinemas currently.
Apparently after school today,Thai Shawn called mike to watch "district 13",haven't heard of it before o.0?
Apparently its not even showing in the cinemas yet -,-
So no choice i was also pulled along by the way,so caught The Losers instead.
I believe this show is being over shadowed by IP Man 2 and Iron man 2 now?
Thus i conveniently forgot that this show is being screened too.
But caught it anyway,and its not too bad.
Pretty funny at some points,but didn't have too much of a "WOW" factor for me.
Generally OK show,but not something that i will consider watching unless i am put into the situation like just now.Where we go to the cinema,the show we are anticipating to watch is not screening yet,thus defeating the purpose of going to the cinema.So you will randomly pick a movie which you think is OK so as not to have wasted your time going there -,-
Yes so catch it if you are totally bored or something lol.

Ip man 2

Yeah caught it just now with some of my closer poly mates.
Have to say the show was pretty good,ok it was very good alright.
Great!!Catching all the good shows recently woot!!
The martial arts fighting scenes were of course marvelous,and Donnie yen looks so cool every time he fights,even when he is up like against 20 people,he maintains that cool posture,and of course thrashes all of them in the end.
But it seems the nemesis this time were the British.
There was this western boxing champion that insulted Chinese martial arts culture and stuff,yeah those usual honour stuff.
Thus of course the Chinese were not happy,so all hell breaks loose and one of the pro martial arts master was killed,as he was already getting on in years so he was defeated.
So ip man was pissed,so of course he fought that British boxer eventually.
He got beaten pretty badly,but of course eventually thrashed that bastard.
There were some points which were pretty emotional,especially the part where the master said "i can tolerate the hardship for a livelihood,but i will not tolerate insults to the chinese martial arts culture",just before he died,and he held on to the side rope even when he was beaten like crap by that idiotic boxer,until he could not take it anymore and collapsed onto the floor,where his life ended.
So sad man=(

So catch it if you have the time,another show which you will not regret watching at the cinemas.

Comfort zone..

Came across something challenging and felt that you didn't have the ability to handle the task at hand?
Definitely something that is happening to me right now...
Yes studies is one of them,added on by acapella....the feeling is really horrible you know?
To be honest i am more troubled by acapella right now.
I have been more or less chosen to take over chengyi to sing bolero.....
haven't heard of bolero by DBSK??
Well,just type "bolero dbsk" in youtube and you will know how it sounds like....
yes.......the notes are dam farking high ok!?
And i also have pitching problems,where by people singing beside me,i get affected by their pitch and i follow their pitch instead,thus going out of tune.
Hate it man......don't know how to farking improve....sibei sian.
Projects are starting to roll in already,and i also found out something bad.
With my current 3.35 gpa, teacher said that it will be very very hard to hit a 3.8gpa by the end of my poly life.
Dam i really wanna go to uni,actually i dont really know why i wanna go there,but i want to have the qualifications at least,so that it will be easier to land on a good job in the future.
I really don't know what is wrong with me,i have the feeling of panic attack,like something is going to happen or what...
Perhaps this is leaving your comfort zone,where by you face new things and challenges,but you would just like to hide below your blanket and stay there forever?
Don't know what to do.....haiz...wish i can talk to someone right now....anyone....

Joe a nice guy?

yeah actually he is...
When we ended acapella practice and went to mcdonalds to eat,
we shared quite a lot of things amongst ourselves.
If was already 12.15am when we left.
So missed the last bus........sibei sian.
Joe offered to give me a ride to upper thomson road to take 165...quite nice of him.
He can abandon me right there you know??
But you know what?Reach upper thomson last bus also gone......fark........
Ended taking taxi home from there......there goes 12 dollars......
Nvm....the main thing about this post is to clarify that Joe is actually quite a nice guy.
He sure is strict,but you better know your stuff when it comes to music lol.

Solitude for now?

I believe many of you out there are trying to find "the one",yep i mean boyfriends and girlfriends.
It sure is wonderful to have that pretty girl or handsome boy as your boyfriend/girlfriend.
But,is that really what you want??Or is it just pure infatuation.
So rather then going all out trying to find "the one",why not just sit back and relax why you still can?
Having a boy/girl friend means that a huge amount of time will have to be committed to each other,again is that what you really want to do??
I think this is the reason why there are so many break ups.
Is that the person whom you think you can live with the rest of your life??Think again.
Your teenage life only makes up about 1/8 of your lifetime,so why not just enjoy your company in solitude??Rather then getting attached too soon,and starting the "60 years phase",basically relating to the marriage life.
And trust me when you are attached,you will want your freedom back,unless you're totally head over heels over your partner,otherwise think thrice before entering a relationship,sometimes it is just not worth it.

Was pretty good i guess,especially the action packed scenes lol.
As for the storyline,average i would say.
So that was what i did for the day,dam....

Vocollision,doing an ABBA medley,acapella style!!
I would not say that their vocals are super super good,but the arrangement of this piece is really good!!
Not many acapella groups are able to do an acapella version of the ABBAs.

Long bus rides

The only thing i regret about going to NP is the freaking bus trip to and from school!!
Going to school is still not a problem as i can get a seat easily.
Watch the time when i have to go back home..Omg...the horror...
A few hundred students standing at the bus stop,makes it worst if it is raining..
All the pushing and squeezing....dam worst nightmare while waiting for the bus.
But the nightmare does not stop there,the buses are so freaking packed,i think you will have to climb on to the roof of the bus,just like in india.
So if SBS knows that the buses will be so freaking packed....why dont they just send more bloody buses on its rounds!!
Rather than have those buses which usually have very few passengers,they can move more of the manpower over to the buses which are always fully packed....makes sense right!?
So i usually take 74 back home,that will be standing for 1hr on a lucky day...
On a not so lucky and traffic jamed day,hohoho,get ready to be stuck in that position for 1hr++...
The bus is so freaking packed you have hardly any space to move your feet,perfect...
So i think a very logical solution is to just send out more freaking buses!!arghgh!!

1st day of school

dam just after concert school starts-,-......
farking tired.....
Had to perform again today at CCA fiesta.
But not long,only 2 songs,heng ar!!
Then had OOAD and DWA...
MY GOD.........it was so freaking boring!!!!
My eyes were literally struggling to keep open.
Other then that,just went like a normal school day......sian......
And Nic gave me the converse shoes(fake) bought from china!!!Wooooooo!!Thanks nic!!
Although they only cost $8 dollars,but they look like the real deal alright lol!
Although the one i bought from Turkey costed $30,but it had a better cutting,so the shoes looked even more original!
But the one from china costed $8,so i guess you pay for the quality then.
2nd day of school tomorrow........and many more to come......

Finally some rest

Great!! Grandioso is over!!
Screwed up a little with poker face,shit dammit. Was way out of tune,sounded freaking weird.
Watched the recording from my dad,i look really stupid on stage man,dont know why =(
Wanna thank mike for coming down to support me,even though he is the only friend i invited lol.
After the concert,my parents,mike and i drove down to newton circle to have supper.
Fried hokkien mee,carrot cake, orh lua.
That few singapore favourites lah.
Then sent mike home and finally back home too!!
Cant believe the month's work is over with just a 2hr concert.
Oh well,performing at CCA fiesta again later......tired man.....

Went on a date!

yeah a shopping date!With who? Mike of course!!ahahaha!! Caught you there didn't i ahaha!!
No i'm not homo or anything,nothing wrong with shopping with a guy right? lol.
Anyway why i went shopping?It's not my usual practice to do it,but apparently my concert is on this coming Sunday!!
Nothing to wear on stage to perform -,-
Thus no choice,shopping for just this once.
Mike asked me whether i was free today,so i decided to pull him along to shop,he was not forced alright,he agreed to go too lol.
Anyway he has a better sense of fashion than me,so why not??
Went to Bugis to look around,while waiting for a few aca people to arrive.Toby,Cheryl,Min Hwa and Cheng yi.
Anyway we met up later, so with that spare 1 hour,decided to go take a look at Bugis street with mike first.
Amazingly,i realised i haven't really been there before,i didn't even know that there was a second floor!!?
Shopping retard i'll call it -,-

I found what i wanted within 1hr!Amazing!!
Then the rest arrived and also came over to Bugis street to take a look.
Toby is like the fashionist,so he said it was ok,the black jacket that i found.
It looked quite cool on me actually,so i decided to buy it immediately!!No hesitation!
Then needed a white T shirt to wear in the inside.So i broke off from the group with mike to check out levis.Levis didn't have what i want,instead bought a white T-shirt from Lee Cooper which had some bling bling patterns on it.
I think it costed about $26 dollars....OUCH!!I don't think i have bought such an expensive T-shirt before.
But no choice,needed it,and of course it looked cool too lah.
Then also bought a white belt from levis,mike said it looked good on me,so just buy it then.
Overall,the jacket,the T-shirt,the belt,came up to bout $90 dollars?

For a new image,i believe the cost is still quite worth it.Luckily everything was on discount when i bought it..phew.....

Then went over to play LAN with mike for about 2hours,that Lan only charges $1 per hour!!
So it was like so bloody cheap!!!
No Lan charges such a cheap rate alright,and the computers are good!Razor mouse and keypad alright!!

Then went over to Serangoon Garden where i introduced mike to Borsch Steak House.
Dam!!!The set dinner was affordable and good!!!
Bout 15 dollars for appetizer,soup,main dish,desert and drink!!!!!!

Than we chit chat a little in the restaurant before leaving for home.

Well,that was how my shopping day went,and ended with me writing my blog now lol.

Practice again tomorrow....stress man!!

How To Train Your Dragon (if you have one)

You can guess what i am going to talk about from the heading.
Yes,went with parents to watch How To Train Your Dragon 3D!!
One thing i have to say,the animation movie had a very good scipt indeed!
Heartwarming but yet not too mushy,and of course it is funny as hell at some parts.
For those who haven't watch it,catch it!! Seriously! You will never regret it!

Then after the movie,there was a bike promotion sale at the lobby of Plaza Singapura.
Thus went to take a look.
As my current bike is already quite old and crappy,with the brakes malfunctioning frequently.
My daddy decided to buy me a bike!There were some really good deals over there,so you guys might want to go check it out.
I bought one bike,don't know what brand.had suspension,good gear system,good seat.
So i thought it was a really good deal.Bought it for $238.
He said that he took this as my Birthday Present!
aahahahah!!Present in advance,shiok!

A little relieved

Today was aca practice again.
1-11pm.
Tired like shit!!!!
But the pieces of music are more or less falling into place now.
A little less worried,but worried nonetheless.
Really enjoy some of the beats for the pieces,like Billie Jean,Missing You,Cassiopeia.
But have to perfect it!!No mistakes!!
Have to really work on Break the Ice by Britney Spears,memorise all the parts for Tenor 1,and of course stabilise my hook.
So i am currently occupied with all these problems.
Looking forward to putting up a good show!!

I've been forgotten

Went to the temple to pray for my paternal grandpa,who kicked the bucket back when my father was 7 years old.......Yes!i mentioned my father!!So i was not even in existence yet!
But that is not the case here,it appears that my 92 years old grandmother is getting senile i guess.she's my paternal side one,so i am not that close to her,sadly to say,she is just like anyone out there to me,well,this happens when you do not meet that person for more than a week annually.
So as i was saying she is getting senile now,so she starts forgetting things and stuff.Even people!!
So i am not surprised that she has forgotten about me.
I called her just now,but she just gave me a blank face,and asked the rest who was I.
Though she isnt that close to me,i do feel a little hurt,just a little.
But honestly i dont really give a dam,cause it doesnt really concern me.
Dont take me wrongly,i am not being self centered here,but honestly,i havent spoken more than 100 words to her since i was born,so i am not really affected by the fact she can no longer remember me.
but i will cry my eyes out if my maternal grandma can no longer remember me.
She took care of me for 6 years!! From a baby till i was primary 1.
I sometimes do miss the times when i stayed all week days at her house,now i find it hard to make time to go down to visit her.but i try my best to do it.
I really wish that my maternal grandma will never die,but that is just wishful thinking.
So treasure the time you have with your loved ones,there will be one day that you will lose them =( unfortunately......

Not too pretty results

This post is like a continuation from my last.
So coming to my this semester results:

sem GPA = 2.8+ (if i did not remember wrongly?) that is shit!!

accu.GPA = 3.35

So as you can see,i got pretty shitty results this time round.
Yes,i do not blame anybody but myself.I know that i have gamed too much.
While i'm not gaming,i tend to do less productive stuff,although i tried to study,but not good enough!
My first semester GPA was like 3.75!!This time?2.8++???
Too much of a drop i would say!Something must have gone very wrong with my studying habits,or my recreational habits.
TIME TO WAKE UP BRIAN!!!WAKE UP!!!
Gaming till 3am will do you no good at all!!So what if you're the best in Dota!?
Will it earn you a living??Feed your family!?Raise your Kids!?
Ok that is a little far fetched,cause i don't even have a GirlFriend now.
But i'm already 18 this year!I plan to get married by 26. 8 years from now!I'm going to have a wife,who looks upon me to feed the family.
As i've thought, it is a series of events which will eventually lead to a bright or dull future.So looks like studying hard now is the way to go,otherwise i'm going to lose everything and become a bum!!

Although it is a little late to set a new year resolution,as i haven't even set one in the first place.I have decided to push all the way!!I WANT a place in our local UNIVERSITY! And that will not come easy!
I must take the first step,or the finishing line between the Goal and the last step will NEVER BE BREACHED!!

I will make this my promise to everyone! I have broken too many promises already.
It is about time that i kept one,a very important one.

Though a GPA of 4.0 might be a very distant one,but if there is a will,there is a way!!Even if i fall short a little,i will make sure i get into a Uni after NS!!

Easter!

Went to church with Mike today,as it is Good Friday.
Wasn't totally excited to go for it,but just accompanied him there.
But i was wrong,i was actually pretty entertained!!
As it was a special event,there is always an act put up by the Drama Team.
And i have to say,i am very very impressed by their work!!Totally!!Very Creative!!
It is hard for me to describe how well done it is in words,you have to watch it yourselves!!
The Church is of course City Harvest Church,i think the church with the most number of members for now! 30,000 if im not wrong??
But i have to give full credit to their Drama Team!Totally Amazing!!
The pastor preached some of the teachings and stuff,but although i am not a christian,it left me something to think about.
I might not totally believe in god,but i do believe that if there is a god,he only helps people who help themselves..
Thus don't blame god for everything that goes wrong,it is a series of events which led you to your current state.So you might want to think about the things which you have done,landing you in this state??

Just that little bit of a panic attack

So Grandioso is like in 3 weeks time?Oh even shorter....
It isn't very often that i perform on stage with a huge crowd in front of me..
Ok.....i may just be the beatboxer,but still.....you know?I do feel nervous!!
Althought it is 2+ weeks away,i already feel like i am going perform tonight or something...i think this is the problem with me??Feeling nervous too easily??
Arhhghh,hate this kind of feeling,but yet i like it a little cause it is exciting!
I would really like to jump on the chance to perform well on stage,but that is if i perform well of course..when you are done and the crowd applaud you,not because of being polite but actually because they enjoyed the performance alot.Yet this is very very hard to achieve..oh well,i will give in my best,and hope all goes well..
And i have to sell the tickets too,minimum 10 of them!!They are 10 dollars each,so if you would like to come and support my Acapella Group,LinkAge,please buy one from me =).So i'm going for practice later,oh well have to put in the hard work if you want to achieve something right??

National Day came early??

Was surfing youtube as usual. Beatboxing,funny skits,just for laugh,yeah i search for almost anything!But suddenly i thought of searching for National Day songs.
Suddenly i realised,since the last decade,there were already so many national day songs!!During those times,i remembered many criticised the songs here and there.But suddenly i felt that they were really nice to listen to,perhaps the nostalgia??
Of all the songs,i felt "Home" was the most powerful one,brings across the message,yet not too propagandaish.Dick Lee is really a genius for writing that song.
And here it is!!The one sang by Kit Chan,dam long time ago!1998 if im not wrong.
That was when i was like 6 years old!!!

Alice in Wonder Land!!!!!!

Yes!!!! That movie was awesome!!!!!!Didnt't expect it to be of that quality you know =) After all it is one of the first cartoon movies that i have watched when i was like 6? Yet amazingly,i still recalled many of the scenes from the cartoon movie which i watched a hell long time ago!!
So this time,in 2010, humans and computer generated characters are used to film this movie!One of the exceptional actors is of course Johnny Depp!!!Outstanding performance!!Great acting!! He of course acted as the Mad Hatter,for those who know the character.

You might think the film is kiddy and one of those very "PG" films,but apparently,i found the movie a little too dark for young kids,i mean there was also some violence like poking a needle into the eye ball and digging it out!!??Yes there wasn't any blood or gore,but STILL!!You gonna let primary school children watch that??But then again,during that age,i believe that i would be able to take it lol..
Anyway this film seems to be the sequel to the Original "Alice in Wonderland" cartoon
This is the second time that Alice returns to wonderland,and she finds out that the Red Queen was reigning at that time.It happened because the Red Queen had a very powerful creature by her side,something that looks like a dragon,i believe its called a wyrme,dont know if i have spelled that correctly??

So the White Queen,the "good" Queen,decides to take Alice as her champion and fight for the crown so as to rule the lands once more.So Alice fought the creature and of course eventually defeated it...So The White Queen gets her crown back and rules over Wonderland once more..Simple Story yet it gives you satisfaction after watching it!And did i mention i watched it in 3D???So the special effects are even more cool!!

So i recommend that you catch the show before it is taken out from the viewing list.

Day 3 in Turkey!

Visited another mosque in the morning...
First it was the blue mosque....and now??The Green Mosque!!Couldn't guess it right?

I have to say that their mosques are so beautiful!I wouldn't be able to compare them to Singapore ones as i haven't been into a mosque in Singapore....but no doubt i believe that Turkey's mosques are definitely more unique and mesmerizing.

While taking photos outside the mosque,i came across a pregnant cat!!So Cute!!!



Then had lunch at some cafe,where it is famous for its meatballs!But apparently,they are not in the shape of a ball,instead it looks more like a stick to me...anyway they came in 2 meat types,chicken and beef,i chose beef. Tasted alright,but not fantastic......




After lunch,proceeded to visit the house of Mary!Yes i mean virgin Mary,the mother of Jesus!
Anyway it is said that this was the house which Mary lived in,in the past.It was also in this town which Mary died,that is if you believe it to be a fact.





And!I have to talk about the toilet break at Mary's house!
For guys,have you ever been able to pee and yet enjoy beautiful scenary at the same time?Well?This toilet allows you to do just that!!Amazing!!



After that,it was more or less the end of the day,thus i will end off Day 3 with another cute cat photo!!I know!Another one!!??But there are just too many cats in Turkey!!and they are so friendly!!=)
